While house sitting an apartment and cat a few summers ago I had a craving for some Chinese take-away. After searching the web I came across Dong-A which was quite literally right under my nose so I decided to give it a try. I went there and was greeted by a nice waitress and proceeded to order. The prices seemed reasonable and so I thought the portions wouldn't be too big, boy was I wrong. I had some chicken on a sizzling platter and it would be more than enough for two people at just under 18 zloty for the meal I was pleasantly surprised and came back.
I've tried a number of other dishes here and for Polish standards of Asian cuisine the food here is very good and filling. Conveniently located on Miodowa Street in Kazimierz it's easy to get to even from the Old Town. It can get busy at times for example during lunch and dinner but other than that it's pretty easy to find a seat. I like many of the dishes here but my preference is the spicy chicken filet on a sizzling platter which comes with a side of salad (Polish surówka) and rice.
