When thinking about a place where I can accidentally bump into my friends, Dym is one of the first that pop into my mind. It's a spot where many locals spend their free time and evenings.
Although Dym means "smoke" in Polish, you can't have a cigarette inside the bar. The place is pretty tiny, but this adds a unique atmosphere. Words can't describe the unusual vibe connected with Dym. This bar strongly connected with locals and thus - this unusual vibe is created by the people who are regular guests there. Many of them are artists or students, who have a specific, personal style that's kind of characteristic of the modern Krakow Boheme. The staff is composed of young people who study in Krakow and most often are friends with each other.
Dym is a bar where you can have an alcoholic drink in the evening or have a cup of coffee during the day. They also offer two types of cake - waffles layered with chocolate and cheesecake. The most popular drink of all in Dym is called caviar, so you can't visit this spot without trying it!
If you're looking for a place where locals truly spend their free time, you should add Dym to your map. It's located on one of the streets near Main Square, so you'd definitely find it with ease.
