Despite being a meat eater, I can never say no to delicious plant-based food from time to time - actually even more often, to be honest. As a Kraków local I'm lucky to have easy access to several vegetarian restaurants with a cult status. Glonojad can be considered one of them, and it's the one I come back to most regularly.
So, what's on the menu? My favourites include their breakfast paninis (pictured), curry dishes (one of the tastiest in Kraków, without a doubt!) and legendary vegetable pancakes. They also offer traditional Polish pierogis, for those who'd like to try something more local. Apart from the delicious food, they serve their signature tea with ginger and honey for those suffering from a cold. What's more, Glonojad is the only restaurant in Kraków I know that not only offers wi-fi but also free computer access.
Another wonderful thing about Glonojad is the location, just a few steps away from the main station and the Old Town. It's open during a wide range of hours. Apart from coming for lunch or dinner, I recommend dropping by for breakfast, as they have a lovely espresso offer - before noon you can get it just for 1 PLN!
