Let me start by saying this: Ogród Łobzów is so much more than your average garden center. It is a place with a rich history, reaching back as far as the 14th century, and four generations' worth of gardening experience.
The area of Łobzów used to be a village bordering the city of Krakow. It served as a royal summer residence and was famous for... its vegetable gardens. Despite many historical turbulences, the gardening tradition endured, thanks to the founders and owners of Ogród Łobzów - the Uznański family.
I recommend getting there by having a stroll or a bike ride down Młynówka Królewska, an 8km-long park that will take you from the old town right to Ogród Łobzów. The lovely staff will answer all the possible questions you might have, help you arrange your terrace, balcony, green wall, or any other greenery you may fancy! Trust me - don't be afraid to ask! They have a wide selection of flowers, vegetables, herbs, garden decore, ceramic pots, and everything gardening-related. By the by, if you are wondering where all the plants come from, take a look across the fence. You will see the Uznański family cottage house and their greenhouses.
Whether you are like me and you love plants, but you have no clue whatsoever about how to deal with them, or maybe you are a plant expert who would rather buy a new green roommate than some dinner - Ogród Łobzów is a place for you!
