Memories about a PRL – People's Republic of Poland are still alive in our minds. We love movies made in these times and we still make fun of them, although we all know that life wasn't easy then. Pubs and clubs designed in a communist style are very common in Poland.
However, pubs are not the only thing that reminds us of PRL. One of the companies from Łódź - Polish base of clothing - recently opened their store in Krakow. Finally, we can buy their clothes and accessories directly, not only through the internet. The shop is located on the ground floor of the Forum Hotel (where the famous Forum Przestrzenie club is based), near the Vistula river.
Gadgets from "Pan tu nie stał" (meaning: "You weren't standing here, have you?") are a great idea as a souvenir from Poland. The name "Pan tu nie stał" is a very famous slogan referring to standing in one of the omnipresent queues during communism. Although the times of "queues" have passed, we Polish still remember them.
All the products are designed and produced in Poland, so good quality is guaranteed. Apart from unique clothes with Polish wording – "cześć", "się" (etc) you can also get accessories like shopping bags, belts, socks... and much more... shopping bags are my favourite and, although not that cheap, they may be a really good souvenir from Poland!
