A teensy spot with home-made pierogi - this is what Przystanek Pierogarnia (Dumpling Manufacture Stop) is. This is probably the best place in Dębniki in Krakow to eat pierogi and all the locals adore it, which explains the crowds during lunch time.
Although there are only a few tables and chairs inside and food is served on paper plates with plastic cutlery, don't be discouraged - as you may miss an opportunity to taste some of the best pierogi in town!
Pierogi are the speciality of Przystanek Pierogarnia, but you can also taste a few different types of soup and some traditional Polish food here. All the meals are prepared right there - each dumpling has its original shape and well flavored filling. If there's no free table, you can always order take away, which I often do, living just a few steps from this spot.
You may wonder what all those stickers mean - the walls are covered with them. These are the opinions of all the visitors who were satisfied with the food they have eaten in Przystanek Pierogarnia. If you're one of them, don't hesitate and leave your own souvenir.
Dębniki is not the only place with Przystanek Pierogarnia - you can check also Krowoderska or Bonerowska spot. All serves the same pierogi at the same price. You will find more details about them and their locations HERE.
