Tartelette Café is a well-hidden secret in the centre of Krakow at the point where Stradomska meets Swietej Agnieszki str. In order to find the cafe, you must enter the gate of the building that is located under the address Stradomska 15 and go all the way through to the backyard.
The interior is beautiful and refined in every detail. I always feel very cosy when I am there and I like that Tartelette has yet to become very popular amongst locals. This gives it a more private vibe which helps you relax. I think that this is one of the reasons why Tartelette is my preferred place to take a short break from a busy day.
In my head, Tartellete is more unique than an average cafe because of the delightful cakes and homemade taste that they manage to produce. These dazzling, delicious cakes are always the unforgettable highlight of my visits. I usually order the pistachio eclairs or a piece of cake; last time I was there I ordered a raspberry-pistachio cake and it was just divine.
If you ever decide to visit, don't forget that you can always take some of the amazing cakes home when you order takeaway!
