If you've been to Italy, you're probably familiar with the concept of takeaway pizza slices. Professionally, it's called pizza al taglio. It's a popular form of serving it, as a better quality fast food - but is it really better quality? In many places, the taste and ingredients used for pizza are actually far from expected - but not at this bistro! Many locals (as well as tourists) claim that it's the best pizza in town, even though it's not a fancy restaurant.
Vicenti is located in three places in Krakow: on Szewska 27, Wielopole 18 and Lipowa 4D. The place near the Main Square is really tiny. It's hard to find a table to sit, but even if there's a free one most of the clients order a takeaway slice and think about it as a unique clime.
The owner of Vicenti took his first steps in the art of making pizza in 1991 in Rome. This experience was transferred straight to each of his shops where you can listen to Italian popular music and try their specialities. There are many types of pizza to choose from: classic margherita, pepperoni, parma and many more - even with potatoes!
Besides the pizza, on particular dates you can try other Italian specialities like gnocchi or tiramisu (both in vegan & regular version). Also, the staff can make a whole pizza with the ingredients of your choice if you can wait for it.
Pricing depends on slice weight but it's not much and is definitely worth it!
