Bar culture in Kyiv is well developed so there are a lot of various bars with different kinds of atmosphere and audience. Some of them are open 24/7 and always crowded. Others are not so popular but feel like home. One of those places is Bar/13, located in the Reytarska street not far from the Golden Gate and Yaroslaviv Val. This bar opens at 6 pm. Its specialty is drinks and cocktails only: you won’t find here a wide variety of snacks, except quiches, but a large bar menu. Drinks and music are so good that you won’t need much food.
I like Bar/13 mostly because of its atmosphere. It’s not too crowded but I can always find nice people for having small talk here. Bar/13 is an appropriate place for a date, a party with closest friends or for meeting new people. Locals like the honey cider, the cheerful bartenders and light decorations which make the bar atmosphere truly homey.
