Very Well Cafe Kyiv
Perfect for family dinners
I was born in a small town in the eastern part of the country. My parents still live there. However, when they come to visit me in Kyiv we have a small tradition to have dinner in Very Well Cafe. When this place was opened, it was like fresh air in this area. Since all of the good restaurants are concentrated in the city center, sometimes it is quite hard to find a place for such family gatherings outside the busy center. Not anymore. That is actually one of the reasons why it is so popular and crowded during weekend days.
If I could only use one word to describe this place, I would use “cozy”. It just describes all the atmosphere and the mood of this place. Imagine yourself drinking fruit or green tea under the blanket on a Saturday morning. That is the feeling you get from this place.
The cuisine is delicious here. Frankly speaking, it is always a hard decision ordering something that you know and like or giving a new dish a chance cause it might be even better! I definitely suggest ordering a piece of their Napoleon cake at the end of your food journey. They serve it with a delicious caramel that is great with the cake’s crispy dough.
They also have business lunches during the weekdays, which are very good and tasty. I usually go there when I work from home and would like to take a break.
