To be honest Chinese food was never a strength and focus of Kyiv cafes and restaurants. But this changed when China Hi (“Kitayskiy Privet”) was open. China Hi is located near Yaroslaviv Val street (on Ivana Franka str.) and offers you to try Chinese cuisine. The food in China Hi is tasty and authentic: in the restaurant you can order even fried worms and cockroaches with special sauce as well as fried milk. But also more regular and usual food can be found here. Yummy food and drinks as well as friendly service attract to China Hi a big crowd: on the weekends, evenings and holidays you may need time to get a table.
I like China Hi because of its authenticity: here you’ll feel like you are in one of those crowded Chinese fast food cafes but get an excellent food and service quality. If you are close by you should definitely try it!
