Kanapka bar is one of the many cozy cafes on Andriyivsky descent on the opposite side of Gnezdo bar. While walking along Andriyivsky descent you’ll find a lot of restaurants of many kinds, but Kanapka bar is a little bit different. It provides you with a nice restaurant atmosphere, oysters and champagne combined with snacks, home-made cider and kanapkas (Ukrainian small-sized sandwiches or canapés). The menu offers a limited number of positions but whatever you choose you can be sure: it is tailor-made and truly tasty. Despite its location and the atmosphere of Kanapka Bar, the prices are really attractive, which distinguishes the spot from others in that area.
My friends and I go to Kanapka Bar during long walks or visit it as a pre-party-spot. From there you can walk to Kreshchatyk street or Maydan and enjoy the famous picture exhibition on Andriyivsky descent while walking. Kanapka Bar is both fancy and pretty simple. Don’t miss it if you like delicious food and good company!
