Charlie Bistro is the newest spot for healthy food in Lisbon.
Located near the main avenue of the city (Av. da Liberdade) and easily identifiable by the green of its logo and the wonderful outdoor seating area, Charlie opened its doors this August and of course I had to go there and try the healthy food that was advertised in several places.
It was a good surprise in all relevant aspects for me to consider the spot as deserving a new visit.
First of all, the decoration is gorgeous and full of relaxing details that provide the environment you need for lunch, brunch or just for a quick coffee in the afternoon.
The menu has a few interesting plates that include vegan, vegetarian or even Paleo food. If you think you will be hungry after ordering one of the available dishes, you couldn't be more wrong. I went there with a friend and both of us were very satisfied with the food served and with the flavours and combinations of different ingredients such as tapioca, smoked salmon, guacamole or even the pesto and dried tomato.
You can also choose from a variety of beverages that includes flavoured or sweetened water, smoothies, power juices or organic' wines.
One thing's for sure: exciting and interesting flavours are waiting for you!
