Part of the expanding, cool scene of Cais do Sodré, Las Ficheiras is a Mexican-inspired restaurant that opened its doors at the end of 2013.
It is a great place to start your night out in one of the hippest parts of Lisbon. Cais do Sodré is currently the place to be with new places opening every month. The restaurant is a stone's throw away from Rua Nova do Carvalho where you can find lots of bars and clubs.
The food is quite good, with a wide range of Mexican dishes. The margaritas are excellent, so good that I hardly remember what I had for dinner!
The crowd is hip and good looking. Booking in advance might a good idea, since it was packed the times that I was there. They serve until late, even after midnight.
Go here for a lively dinner in a cool place to start your (long) night. Do not go here for a quiet dinner with your inlaws.
