The well-kept secret, the most hidden miradouro (viewpoint) from the tourist crowds. My personal favourite from all the Lisbon's miradouros. Probably because you can catch the sun here during the winter and chill in the shadows during the summer, it's true you either need to climb a steep heel or stairs, but then you at least don't feel guilty when you enjoy fabulous grilled cheese (tosta de queijo) at Simo's quiosque.
You can choose from the different seating options, you have benches, tables where you can work, or lounge chairs where you can read or just soak up the sun and the atmosphere. Simo's quiosque has an endless offer for such a tiny place. Treat yourself to coffee, freshly squeezed orange juice, a cocktail (my personal it's mezcalita), natural wine, or beer. Sometimes, they organize dance parties, host DJs or even have a live music session.
If you are in the mood for some more fun, check their instagram to see what's going on in the moment. It's the perfect spot to see the blend of different nationalities, ages, and cultures get together. Bonus for the dog lovers, there is always some dog around who wants to play.
