The mostly unknown pasta haven is owned by a lovely Italian couple. Michele (chef) and Valentina(pasta master) bring forgotten Italian recipes to life in the old neighbourhood of Alcantara. Rolling pin handmade pasta, ultra regional recipes, classics like focaccia and tiramisu, along with the very special dessert mousse made of mushroom and chocolate (unconventional, surprisingly delicious).
I recommend trying the old Venetian recipe of fried sardines marinated with sweet and sour onions, sultanas, pines, and vinegar. The walls are decorated with a huge selection of wines from different countries, mainly Italy but also France, Portugal, and Spain. You can choose to sit inside or outside on the covered terrace where you can enjoy your meal even in the winter. Ask for recommendations, and you are in for a treat.
