Tucked in an alley in Notting Hill, this spot is worth every penny.
The team is very friendly and ready to assist. The waiting time for the food is the quickest I’ve seen in the city, and the restaurant is split across 2 floors with a terrace in between. That means that, unless you are unlucky enough to have really loud customers sitting beside you, you will have the chance to carry out a proper conversation – a blessing, in London!
As a big fan of Korean cuisine, I am drawn to anything ‘kimchi’, and let me tell you... their kimchi pancake is madness! It has just the right amount of crispy, tangy, savoury that will leave you on the verge of ordering a second serving!
As another starter, go for the pickle selection. It’s a crunchy, refreshing side to get your palette going. Add on a sizzling main, and choose between a generous serving of KFC (top are padak and sweet chili flavours) and a bibimbap (comes with a side of miso soup).
Although if you’re feeling adventurous, then by all means, order all of the above! The restaurant actually serves Japanese dishes as well, but I have never been able to try them as I keep maxing out on the Korean menu. It’s too good.
And remember… life is too short to die on an empty stomach – so make it count!
