For many Londoners who need to fill an ice cream craving, they may pop to their local market for a tub of Häagen-Dazs (or a frozen yogurt if they are feeling virtuous). I would strongly urge those Londoners - and everyone else - to head to Gelupo for a frozen treat experience like no other.
Gelupo doesn't do ordinary ice cream. Oh no, it's delicious gelatos and delightful sorbets at this Soho spot. If you're looking for tired flavours, well you'll have to look elsewhere. The creative choices at Gelupo keep visitors coming back. Different seasons feature different flavours. I must admit I am partial to the dark chocolate. The flavour is so deeply intense, it makes your tongue feel like it is swimming in a rich pool of decadent chocolate.
The shop itself sells other Italian treats like biscotti (if for some odd reason you're not in the mood for gelato). There's a large selection of ingredients imported from Italy, and there are plenty of cookbooks available to teach you how to make clever use of those tasty ingredients.
