If you’re feeling fancy, then drag your friends to the Ned for drinks.
Fun fact: this five-star hotel came about in 2017, in the former Midland Bank headquarters, designed by Sir Edwin 'Ned' Lutyens in 1924.
Tucked in a corner near the entrance on Poultry Road, you will find Millie’s Lounge. A very nice, upscale bar, where you have a choice between a bar seat, a dining table or a couch area.
I always walk in and have actually never made a reservation. They get a bit busy, but not too busy that there is no room. I usually visit after work, around 18:00-19:00.
The live music in the center of the space can sometimes be too loud, but is usually a nice addition to the atmosphere. I would recommend bringing any visitors in town for a quick drink, it’s a sure way to impress!
