A taste of home, with the best cheese ka'ak!
Ta'mini, which literally translates to "feed me", is a cute little bakery in Russel Square that will transport you to Beirut at a much cheaper rate than Middle East Airlines....
It has limited seating, so make sure to get there early and save your spot. The staff is on the go, just nonstop, always preparing fresh dough, mana'ish, kaak, and eggs to order. They have a lot of homemade drinks, lemonades and juices, so make sure you sneak a peek at their cold deli section.
Whether you're starting or ending your day, their homemade ayran is the perfect pairing to anything you order in there. My top picks are the 'sujuk & cheese', 'cheese kaak' and 'za'atar & cheese'. Place a huge order, gather around and dive in. They also do deliveries, so you can opt to have it all while in your PJs!
And as always remember... life is too short to die on an empty stomach — so make it count!
