You might have found out from my other spots that I do love me some good books and it's possible for me to lose track of time on occasion. This place can do that to you as well. Although it may be more travelling in time than losing it.
Generally, it's a bookstore providing you with some very odd choices: the books that other people got rid off. Maybe they didn't want them anymore, maybe they were just making space for new books, in any case the ones you can buy here are used and often old. They can provide you with an insight into what people were reading in Sweden 40/50 years ago. Some of it will surprise you and some of it will make you laugh. I mainly laughed.
But that's not all. Apart from a random reading collection, this place is also full of artefacts from a bygone era: ashtrays in various shapes and sizes, ornate vases that are supposed to look like antiques or modern art and, as you can see in the window, also a Smurf.
Bokfinken also supports the Skania chapter of Autism and Asperger Association.
For now, the place is closed due to Covid-19, but you can still buy some of the things online on Tradera.
