I discovered this place after I was dying for a substantial breakfast after my 5k Saturday run. We didn’t want to go home as I had finally gone under 30 minutes in my time and it was a day to celebrate.
When you walk into this place, it smells like heaven – at least to me. They bake everything on-site – the business is of course family-run so all recipes are original and everything is prepared from scratch. Their carrot cake is to die for and they have the very Swedish traditional Mazarin cake on offer. Oh, and the sandwiches! Not to mention you get your tea, or coffee, or hot chocolate in a proper big mug.
What makes the visit extra special is the nice ambience – you can sit outside as well, where they have blankets if it’s a bit windy. One warning though: Sunday and Saturday mornings are busy, as all the locals know the place, so it might be best to try it out during the week.
