Ljudkullar – Music hill with daily playlist

Most visitors to Malmö eventually go to the Västra Hamnen area of the city to see the well-known Turning Torso building and to enjoy a nice walk along the boardwalks and paths by the parks called Daniaparken and Scaniaparken, but many miss the ljudkullar music hill and turn back somewhere around the outdoor beach volleyball courts when walking along the water in Scaniaparken.

If I didn’t know about it, I would also turn back thinking not much else is along the coastline with the glimpse of the shabby end of dockyard seemingly the only thing beyond that point.

At the ljudkullar music hill, around a dozen music albums by various artists are played via speakers built into the ground starting from 12:00 daily. The list changes now and again so listing the albums here would risk being too outdated too often, so be sure to check out the white sign on a pole when entering the music hill which lists the exact times and albums that are currently playing.

Especially on a warm and sunny late afternoon or early evening, I love going to the ljudkullar music hill with a picnic, some red wine, and a blanket to lie back and enjoy the lovely music.
