I love Homeslice Pizza. These guys are for sure comfort food experts.
The milkshakes in this spot are amazing; you can find the classic flavours of vanilla, strawberry, chocolate and oreo, but also at Homeslice Pizza you can find some exotic versions: tepache, wine shake and stout frappe.
In addition to these very unusual milkshakes, at Homeslice Pizza you can find a good variety of pizzas: New York style, pizza bread or Chicago. They have many delicious flavors; if you can't decide, you can order half and half. You can also find brunch on Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays where you can have pizza, chilaquiles with fried chicken and to make it perfect you can accompany your plate with micheladas or mimosas.
It is funny to see the spot being a bunker in the middle of a residential area within Colonia del Valle. The space is an industrial and very American combination: steel tables and chairs, a concrete bar and high ceilings.
Definitely a good place to go with your friends or family. The secret? Go hungry.
