Spotter since 2017
About me
I'm a tutor of Spanish as a Foreign Language. I enjoy watching movies, reading about diverse topics, and exploring the city. The places I like the most, are those that I find the most authentic, the spots that either have a distinctive vibe of their own or the ones that better convey the cultural traits of the place they belong to.
Why I love my city
Once the capital of a great empire, the first big city in the Americas, a bridge between Europe and Asia, and a refuge for intellectuals from all over the world, Mexico City has been a cultural melting pot throughout history and a breeding ground for an intense, ever-changing and defining interplay between different parts.

"La Paloma Azul" in Mexico City is in my opinion one of the best places to try pulque, along with many other specialties of the Mexican culture & cuisine.

Mexican food is street food, so quesadilla stands in Mexico City is a necessary experience. Go to Durango street, don't let Moctezuma's revenge scare you!

"El Parrillón" is a little red food stand in Mexico City that sells great Argentinian tacos, or a Mexican way of eating Argentinian cuts! Get El Especial.

"Oaxaca Aquí" in Mexico City is a little restaurant with specialties from Oaxaca. I love their mole negro and the tejate is also definitely a must...

"Francisco Sosa": the main street of Coyoacán, Mexico City. This street has existed since before Pre-Hispanic times. This makes it more than 500 years old.

"El Diálogo de los Ángeles" Mexico City is an unassuming cafe hidden behind a discreet façade. This beautiful courtyard has good coffee & food for cheap...

"La Vitrina" is a bistro-style place with an inexplicable charm. It has the three B's: it's bueno, bonito y barato - that is: good, pretty, and cheap!
