This place is located in the neighborhood of La Conchita, in Coyoacán. Hacienda de Cortés hides in what is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful places in Mexico City. It is a colonial-style house where it is said that Hernán Cortés had his stables before its construction.
First of all, I love the location of the Hacienda; La Conchita area is a beautiful and more quiet area in one of the corners in Coyoacán. You can also visit the main plaza of the neighborhood and the Centro Cultural Elena Garro, a wonderful place to meet around books.
The Hacienda offers a small bazaar on Saturdays, and an outdoor restaurant area. It's a perfect place to go during the weekend and just have a coffee and sweets. I enjoy coming here with my family on Sunday afternoons just to relax after taking a walk in the area.
