Legendar is a unique spot that operates as a café during the day and transforms into a cocktail bar in the evening. What makes this place special is that everything here is inspired by Belarusian fairytales and mythology.
The interior features lots of wood and vintage furniture, you'll find heather wreaths hanging from the ceiling, and the air is filled with a distinctive, smoky aroma. The menu itself is full of enchanting illustrations, and all the drinks are signature creations — you simply won't find them anywhere else.
During the day, when it functions as a coffee house, I highly recommend trying the Iglitsa coffee cocktail. A fair warning: this is a personal favorite of mine and might not be for everyone. The baristas have tried to capture the breath of a November forest: it's dark, piney, and intensely woody. But if you’re up for something truly outside the box, give it a shot!
At night, feel free to try absolutely anything. I’m confident that every single cocktail will surprise you. And be sure to ask about the meaning behind its name!
And a quick note: the place isn't very large, so it's a good idea to book a table in advance, especially on weekends.
