Park "Cape Stroginskaya Kosa" is situated in Moscow's suburbs, in one of the most ecologically cleanest districts of the city. This relatively small park is a green spot in the concrete jungle of the metropolis. It is located on the Moscow Riverside and Stroginskaya floodplain side and surrounded by water from three sides, which makes this place a peninsula. It is a calm, quiet place with many trees and the air is fresh and cool, especially in summer. You will not find any ice-cream vans, fountains and flowerbeds there, but there are good paths and benches in “Stroginskaya Kosa” park.
However, I believe that everyone can find something to do in the park. For example, ride a bike or jog, read a book in silence or go for a walk with friends, grab some snacks and listen to music while enjoying a beautiful view. Personally, I like to go there with my family or my best friend, feed the ducks or have a picnic.
In the evenings, you can go to the furthest point of the park, to the cape, sit at the water’s edge (take a blanket from home) and enjoy the water on three sides, the lights of the buildings on the opposite bank and the lights of a huge bridge with a thousand car lights in the distance. I suppose it is a good spot for a romantic walk.
