The first time I went to this place was just because of its name - it means "Vanya will pour you a drink". That was true: Vanya is the bartender and he's been keeping draft craft beer for a couple of years now in his venue in Red Oktyabr district.
If you are looking for a pretentious bar, just skip to another article. The place itself is absolutely nothing special - a bit of a stuffy basement with about 12-15 beers on tap and very simple interior - just benches and tables. But the yard is lovely. First of all, it is the only craft beer place in Red Oktyabr. Moreover, the yard looks very "St-Peterburgish" - it's almost square and surrounded by buildings of a former chocolate factory.
Here's a perfect match: having noodles or fried dumplings in cafe Silver Panda nearby once you are hungry, and sipping a beer with friends on the embankment of the river Moskva river while looking at Moscow's biggest cathedral and the Peter the Great monument (also the biggest one).
