This is one of the most trendy places in Moscow and is really lively in the summer season. i like the concept of the place - it combines the Strelka Institute that features programs and lectures about new technologies, urbanistics and design, and Strelka Bar that attracts hundreds of people to party in winter and even more in summer, when the huge inner yard is made public space.Â
What I adore in this place is that you can register on Facebook for a lecture in the evening. Afterwards you have a drink or snack in the bar and then the music starts!
Lectures are not the only thing to do: Strealka hosts the Beat Film Festival (documentary) and several fitness events in summer.Â
Their parties are very different too: I recommend you DJ team Deep Fried Friends who regularly do sets there. Summer night among nice people and with easy-listening music are the best. But beware of face control. The place is so popular that not everyone is allowed inside. But if you are casual and friendly - it's the way to go!
The cherry on top is the terrace on the top of the building. A few years ago it was a definite "must-go" and now it remains a nice place to visit. Having a drink with a perfect view on Moscow's biggest cathedral, the Red October hood and the Moskva river - priceless!
