I know where to go when I am hungry for music – to the remarkable Moscow International House of Music. There are always plenty of concerts, different, selected ones.
Being deadly tired, when even coffee cannot help, I prefer enjoying a balmy nap in the backyards of a very light and modern Svetlanovsky hall, equipped with an organ on the front wall. Very comfortable. I close my eyes and a magic musical world appears in front of me thanks to the glamorous gift of musicians and singers.
The architecture of the Moscow International House of Music is gorgeous. It is built mostly with glass.
The president of the complex is Vladimir Spivakov - a well-known Russian director who initiated the creation of this building complex a few years back. I like him because he does a lot for children interested in music and for Russians in general when organizing festivals and separate concerts. That's why you can be sure that all the events to be performed at this place are thoroughly selected.
Two of my favorite concerts I have attended there were the Avishai Cohen performance and the Tuva overtone singing.
