Tsaritsyno is a large park. Its full name is "Historical, Architectural, Art and Landscape open-air museum Tsaritsyno". Many locals spend their free time there.
First of all, this huge park is full of trees, flowers, bushes, grass and all these things which are important for urban citizens who don't have regular access to these. But Tsaritsyno also has many special attractions.
The main one is a palace complex. If you're fond of architecture you'll totally appreciate it. This unified complex contains The Small Palace, The Bread House, The Opera House, Figure Gates, and many others.
The Big Palace is the center of this set. In front of this absolutely beautiful building people sit on the grass having a picnic or just chatting. Everyone can have a seat and enjoy the view of the palace in the sunlight.
Moreover, Tsaritsyno always has a variety of exhibitions and showings – temporary and permanent. The best permanent museum is situated inside The Big Palace. There are treasures, images, costumes and many things connected with imperial Russia.Â
If you're interested in the culture of the USSR, you should visit the permanent exhibition in The Bread House.
Besides museums, Tsaritsyno offers many activities. You can rent a boat or a catamaran, eat ice-cream or stare at the main fountain. In the evening it is especially marvelous: you can enjoy the light and music show there.
Parents with children can visit the play station, where little ones attend unusual interactive lessons or simply play.
