This is where I go whenever I fancy a burger because in my opinion they simply make the best burgers in town. The place's name - Schnelle Liebe meaning "fast love" - actually says it all: fast food doesn't need to be rubbish if you put a little love into making it.
The meat is organic and the burgers come with different kinds of chutneys or relishes, some mixed salad and potato wedges. They are served on parchment paper, which I like as this keeps the street food character. There are six different burgers on offer, including a veggie version, but there are also great salads and focaccias.
The crowd is the usual Glockenbach mix between down to earth and creative people. The interior style is uncomplicated, there are small tables at the window front and if you sit opposite the bar you will find old wine boxes instead of tables. There are also a few tables outside which merge with the inside as they usually fully open the window front on hot days for everyone to get a breeze.
It has to be said that the place is tiny so it can be a little crammed, which also means you might have to wait for your food. If you are after a quiet evening don't go there. However, if you want to experience a lively place with lots of locals laughing, eating and drinking, do give it a try.
