Since I moved to Oslo, this has been my local neighborhood café. It's a place I stop by to grab a delicious coffee on the go or to meet with some other international friends who live around the area. Grønn Café has a good soul with its cozy and inviting interior.
Grønn Café is a perfect stop for those curious exploring the Lysakerelva river, since it is only a short 5-minute walk from there. Whether you have finished your walk and want to sit down and relax and have something delicious to eat or are on your way to start your walk and want to grab a sandwich or croissant, this café is a perfect option. Grønn Café is known for its creative and colorful salads, sandwiches, and own baking. Also, they have pieces of decoration, delicatessen products, flowers, and much more to offer. That is the reason why Grønn Café is a popular place among the locals at Oslo's Ullern district.
It is quite easy to get to Grønn café from the city center, just get trykk (tram) number 13 and get off at Lilleaker Station. When walking along the river Lysakerelva, just follow the signpost Lilleaker Stasjon. The café is less than 2 minutes from the station.
