Facing a peaceful and playful square called Vestkanttorvet, known for its traditional antique flea market on Sundays, lies the inviting Happy Foods Café - just a couple of minutes away from the main entrance of Frogner Parken and the busy shopping street of Bogstadveien at Majorstuen district.
The name couldn’t describe the concept of this café better: their colorful salads, soups, wraps, sandwiches, fresh juices, and smoothies really makes you happy. Body and soul. That’s the concept of the bistro, to offer tasty food with hand-picked ingredients without any kind of chemicals or additives made from scratch with focus on local Norwegian producers.
Best of all, almost everything is plant-based and gluten-free. When I go there, is always hard to choose between the Panini Avocado Toast with carrot hummus and pickled onions or the tasty and rich Salad Bowl. Any of the two options will suit you perfectly after a visit or a jog at the beautiful Frogner Park.
