When I'm in the mood for a culinary adventure, Manschmanns Food Market is one of my favourite spots to visit. This hidden gem, located on Karenslyst Allé in Skøyen, stands as a mecca for food lovers. Under one roof, you can discover a large variety of delicacies that span the rich tapestry of Norwegian and European cuisine.
Manschmanns Food Market offers a delightful fusion of flavors. The range and variety of high-quality products is amazing. You will find Italian sausages, British teas, French cheeses, Russian caviar, American sodas, locally sourced meats, fresh fish, naturally produced baked goods, authentic Italian pizzas, and sections dedicated to fruits, vegetables, spices, sauces, sweets and beautiful flower bouquets.
In addition to the food market, Manchmanns Food Market also has an on-site pizzeria connected to a bakery that has a vast menu consisting of many mouthwatering dishes. Here you can find delicious pizzas, sandwiches and sweet baked goods such as cronuts.
While I typically visit Manschmanns Food Market for grocery shopping, however occasionally I sit down and enjoy an organic coffee or a slice of pizza for lunch or dinner. The food is not only delicious but also reasonably priced. The staff working there clearly possess culinary expertise.
