Whoever came up with the idea to put a cafe inside a greenhouse is a genius.
Plants + coffee = LIFE
Since moving to the East Falls neighborhood I've been frequenting Vault + Vine almost every weekend with my pug. We sit outside on the bench and sip our dirty chai and say hello to the neighbors as they flow in and out.
The greenhouse is small but I love the variety of interesting plants they have, like carnivorous pitcher plants and fascinating succulents. They also do floral design and carry locally-made crafts, jewelry and art.
In the café you'll find coffee, tea and pastries. The seating area is bright and warm, with mostly locals meeting for coffee or working on their computers.
Check out their website for events like floral-arranging workshops and pop up markets. On Wednesday evenings the Foolish Waffles food truck is out front from 5-7 pm!
If you are taking public transportation, Vault + Vine is just a stone's throw from East Falls Station, which is on the Manayunk/Norristown line.
Currently, due to Covid, Vault & Vine is offering curbside pickup from their cafe only, but they do have outdoor seating.
