Today, I don’t have as many opportunities to do bodyboard as I'd like, because I have a lot of things to do, but I used to enjoy doing this sport during the period of time related with my academic career.
The blue sky, the sunshine, the waves and friends were the necessary ingredients to have an excellent day at Matosinhos beach. Generally, we would arrive early in the morning and we would stop the car near the "Transparente" building to decide if we'd go in or if we'd keep out. Sometimes, while deciding, we would listen to some music or take a coffee while trying to understand whether the type of wave was enough reason to lose part of our day and if we should wet ourselves with the cold water of the sea.
When we decided to go and the waves were strong, we would use our muscles to swim against the waves to the right spot to catch the best wave of Matosinhos beach. We enjoyed the feelings associated with the relaxing time at the sea. Then when we were back at the car, we got dressed before enjoying one of the restaurants or cafes of Matosinhos.
