Imagine a green world, filled with many types of plants, flowers and decorations. Inside that atmosphere, a healthy food restaurant. Yep, this exists and it's in Matosinhos. Its name is Terrarea.
At Terrarea you can find almost anything related to home decoration and plants in general: from succulents and cactus to coffee plants, vases, mirrors, plates. It’s also a paradise for those who love flowers: they have a whole bunch of flower arrangements for events, weddings, funerals, home or company decors and even a bouquet delivery service. Their prices are a little high if you compare them to other places, but you pay for their origin – they are high quality Portuguese products.
If you are there and you start to feel hungry, don't worry, because they have a café! And the place is mostly vegetarian/vegan. For a snack, you'll find pancakes, croissants, cakes, toasts and granola. If you're there for lunch, they have 2 menu options: 1) soup + main dish + infusion/water/lemonade for € 7.80 and 2) soup + main dish + juice of the day/wine/beer/soda for €8. They even serve francesinha on some days, so enjoy!
If you want to visit Matosinhos someday and don't know where to eat, or if you want to take some plant home to keep you company, that's my golden tip for you because you can never have too many plants, right?
