4WATER is a worldwide project, where mostly students and young people are exchanging theirs skills such as dance, arts and languages for charitable donations, that are given to WaterAid. WaterAid helps people all around the world who don’t have access to clean drinking water and basic services.
Dance4water in Prague is a part of this big project and it is a community for every active person who enjoys dance lessons and also wants to contribute to a good cause. They teach two dance styles, Cuban Salsa – partner figures, but also figures for Rueda de Casino - and Bachata.
It doesn’t matter if you live in Prague or you are just visiting - you can join the classes anytime! There are classes for beginners and also intermediate dancers and it’s up to you which one you try according to your skills. There is no registration for classes and you pay per class, there is no dress code and you don’t even need a partner. The lesson are held as following: couples dance together in a circle and switching partners every few minutes as prompted by teacher. The atmosphere is fun a relaxed, you will learn new steps very quickly with no stress. It can be your one-time activity or a regular one. The most important is that you want to help and experience something new.
