Breakfast in Letná

Martina from Prague

My name is Martina. I live in a half-Czech, half-Italian family. I have always been very passionate about different cultures, languages and cuisines. I studied Italian and Spanish, and then, as a big art and design lover, I continued with design theory. My biggest passion is looking for ways to make cities and companies more sustainable for living. During my studies and since then, wh...
"Eska’s new Letná spot offers famous bread, pastries, and Nordbeans coffee. Enjoy late breakfasts, pickled goods, and stylish foodie gifts in Prague’s trendiest area!"
Freshly opened 2nd Eska, after the renowned huge bakery and restaurant that opened some years ago in Karlin, now serves very similar offers and many goods to go. This little bakery and coffee place offers their famous bread 66 and 33 as well as pastries, pies, sweets and great coffee to stay or to go. Eska now opened in Letná, Prague 7, a very modern and youthful part of the city.

Eska is famous for their breakfasts, which are served until late afternoon. The bakery stands on fresh ingredients, very genuine taste and modern combinations of food. Eska is also known for a nice selection of fermented or pickled veggies, which you will find in Letná in beautifully designed gifts to go, as well as a nice selection of cider, wine, sausages, dry meat, pickled mushrooms, marmalades or even fresh milk and farmer's eggs, depending on your choice. If you are looking for some little eatable gifts, their simple and strong design will definitely catch your eyes. Eska's coffee comes from a Czech roastery called Nordbeans, and baristas really know how to prepare the best coffee in many possible ways.

Letná is perhaps the part of Prague with the highest concentration of good restaurants, coffee shops, bistros, local design shops, artist's ateliers, and clubs. You shouldn't miss it while in Prague.

Prague Spotter Martina

My name is Martina. I live in a half-Czech, half-Italian family. I have always been very passionate about different cultures, languages and cuisines. I studied Italian and Spanish, and then, as a big art and design lover, I continued with design theory. My biggest passion is looking for ways to make cities and companies more sustainable for living. During my studies and since then, whenever I can, I walk through the city as much as I can; my favourite activity is to spot new places and new hidden gems and, above all, show them to my friends from abroad. And after many, many years ...

Libeňský Most

Widely discussed object

Modernist, cubist "Libeňský Most" in Prague has never been reconstructed... I like the contrast it creates with the surrounding nature.
