Sundays have always been so exciting for me, because we always find somewhere to go with my family. One of the staples of lunchtime during these Sundays, so much so that the staff recognizes us easily now, is Pishat Restaurant. Firstly, the interior is very simple and elegant and there is a patio surrounded by red-tiled walls and plants, which makes it feel so much like home. Then, the most important bit, the food is absolutely delicious. There are many delicious things to try, among those mouthwatering pizzas made in a wood-fired oven, but my personal favorite is the “Menu-ja e shtëpisë” or the House Menu.
The House Menu has a combination of traditional and non-traditional food coming together in about 10 specialties. Bread and dough specialties in general are a big thing in Kosova, so the first course has them in all shapes and with all kinds of accompaniments. Then gradually comes the salad, some roasted vegetables, some pasta, and then some incredibly cooked meat for the meat lovers. It’s most definitely a finger-licking, belly-rubbing kind of meal. This restaurant is absolutely worth a visit if you’d like to eat a good lunch or dinner in the city center!

It's the perfect spot to grab a drink; my favorite is the blueberry juice, and to eat a snack. The chicken salad or the Sach Attack burger are really good!
