Soliterat are four famous buildings overlooking the Ulpiana & Dardania Neighbourhoods. A park of lush green lays right at their feet and it is a piece of heaven in the middle of a couple of very busy streets.
Depending on the weather, it oscillates between being a perfect picnic spot to being the perfect sled slope. There is a small field for both football and basketball and two playgrounds as well where both children and adults have some fun and exercise in. Personally, my summer nights are especially fun when I’m hanging upside down on the monkey bars.
On both the upper and lower sides of the park, there are a couple of cozy cafes to enjoy a drink or two in. I also love simply going for a walk there to clear my head and it reminds me to enjoy the moment, especially since it being on a hill means that there is a perfect view of the Dardania Neighbourhood and glimpses of other parts of the city. Although the buildings block some of the view, the sunset sky is a highlight experience from up there and one I would definitely recommend looking out for.
