I like to make presents myself. Long before it became modern. Nowadays it is very popular to make something with your own 2 hands. But Latvians (especially women) have a long tradition of crafts and handicrafts. Almost a third do some knitting, crocheting or beading. In recent years other crafts have become popular - decoupage, felting, silk drawing, mosaic technique etc. etc.
Latvia is a very creative nation, it's not for nothing that the Etsy team comes here to understand why there are so many crafts people compared to the number of citizens - "do we have something in the air?"
When your own skills and stock hidden somewhere in boxes - maybe I will need that thing some day - isn't enough, Hobbyset is your best help to be creative. The shop offers a very big variety of materials and tools for your original ideas.
