Lido Ķirsons māja (House) is the namesake of the charismatic face of Lido, Gunārs Ķirsons. And while the number of Lido restaurants scattered across Latvia is numerous, Ķirsons māja is one of the few which stands out.
For starters, it is a multi-story building, housing rooms not just for more sitting areas, but serving two purposes. The first floor caters to those in search of LIDO packaged products, ranging from their own branded sauces, meats, sweets, and so on, as well as being a place where to sit down and enjoy a warm coffee. In the basement level, however, is where you'll find your typical LIDO bistro experience, with a wide range of hot meals ready to be put on a plate and enjoyed.
There are a lot of things to love about Ķirsons māja, from its stylish architecture to the convenience it provides. One of my favorite aspects of this location is, however, the LIDO burgers. As far as I know, it is one of the few locations having burgers on the menu and, might I add, one of the tastiest ones for one of the cheapest prices money can buy in Riga. If you are looking to spice up the classical Latvian LIDO experience, make sure to drop by LIDO Ķirsona māja.
