Darling shop for kids
As an adult, it’s easy to lose touch with the carefree mindset of what it’s like to be a child. I can tell you, though, that this can be changed in an instant! All you have to do is visit a delightful little family-owned business in the Inner Richmond District. As a gal in my mid-thirties, of course I have friends who have kids. I found myself having to seek out a gift shop for children one day and discovered Tantrum. Cute name, right? It reminded me of a shop where I grew up. All the nostalgia of a kids' store catered just for kids. They even have a li'l jewelry section for moms.
I can tell you, if I was a child now and went into this shop, I would freak out with genuine joy! So many playful gifts, books, party supplies, and costumes. I remember losing it for their Maileg products, which are basically these little mice that you can collect and dress up. They even have a coin-operated mechanical seal that the little ones can ride! Talk about a cherry on top!
Everything about this shop is darling! It has become my go-to spot in the neighborhood to purchase gifts for my friends' children. This family business is spearheaded by Amanda and Richard. Amanda came up with the clever idea for Tantrum and does a savvy job of choosing all the fun merchandise. Together they have created a wonderful children’s wonderland. Check it out!
