This may be the most bizarre recommendation I'll ever make, but I will say, that my lunch at the strip club at noon on a Thursday was the best lunch buffet I've had.
I had heard about the $5 all-you-can-eat lunch buffet at SF's Gold Club Strip Club for awhile via many public forums and a couple times through word-of-mouth. None of my close friends had ever been; I think people were nervous to walk into a strip club at lunchtime during a week day. However, a friend and I dared to do what none of our other friends would, and walked in with high hopes for a truly unique experience.
This lunch did not disappoint, although we did eat in the back because we didn't want to ruin our appetites. We had salad, fruit salad, roasted vegetables, rice, chicken teriyaki, fried chicken, and some foccacia pizza. The place was packed! It was mostly filled with business people and a good amount of women on their lunch breaks as well. It was definitely a bizarre event and I don't feel the need to go back anytime soon, but it was well worth the $ 5. Maybe I'll be back again when they do sushi on Tuesdays.
