After searching the city far and wide for Bubble Tea made like hipster coffee lovers, I finally found the ultimate spot. Off Valencia and 19th Street is the Boba Guys, who make each individual bubble tea to order. You can customize the kind of tea (I opt for classic black milk tea), the type of pearls you want, and the level of sweetness. Everything is homemade and organic, and they only use the finest loose-leaf tea. For people like myself who are a bit of a tea snob, this place is the best spot for bubble-tea enthusiasts.
Boba Guys started as a small pop-up without the intention of turning it into a business, but it became such a success that they decided to open a store. Their mission is to incorporate high quality and local sourcing to provide the best damn cup of bubble tea you will ever drink.
