Dynamo can best be described as a sidewalk coffee bar. From the outside Dynamo looks like a pop-up, but cross the threshold and you will find a coffee shop that is here to stay. Inside there are tables that comfortably fit three or four people.

Great coffee abounds in San Francisco, but great donuts are harder to come by. Using fresh, local, and organic ingredients to make donuts is a challenge, which Dynamo takes on head first. You may wonder if these tasty treats are worth $ 2.75, and the answer is yes. With a rotating menu of donuts (including gluten free!) there is something for everyone. Menu staples include Cornmeal Rosemary Cherry, Passion Fruit Milk Chocolate, and Caramel De Sel, just to name a few.

Serving the Mission's own Four Barrell Coffee, located just a few blocks away, Dynamo is a great stop anytime of day. Lines can be rather long in the morning, I'd suggest stopping by after 09:00. If you do visit during the morning rush, you shouldn't have to wait long. The line moves pretty fast.

Almost every day of the week you will find Mission dwellers lined up on the sidewalk to get their coffee and gourmet donut. Well except for Mondays, when they are closed.
