What to do on a wet Seattle winter evening? Watch a movie of course! No I do not mean binging on your favorite Netflix show. How about dinner and a movie on the big screen? Central Cinema will give your Netflix night a run for its money. The theater offers a full service menu that will best your microwave popcorn. Add in a pre-movie happy hour with craft brews and you have the perfect rainy day destination.
Central has a variety of shows, from independent films to cult classics. They also do movie trivia nights and crowd sourced films. The space is cozy and intimate with booth seating for around maybe a 50 folks at most. A great place for a low-key date night or the next time you're feeling too lazy to make microwave popcorn. This neighborhood theater doesn't take itself too seriously and is a fun environment to watch that terrible slasher or get nostalgic on that classic black and white flick. Oh and it's kid friendly too. Cheers to staying dry!
